Carlie Love, LMBT, CIMI | NC License #4470
Carlie Love is a seasoned Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist (LMBT) and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) through the International Association of Infant Massage, founded by Vimala McClure. With over 20 years of experience, Carlie is passionate about supporting individuals and families through life’s most vulnerable and transformative seasons. As the founding mother of Hamsa Hands, her work bridges therapeutic bodywork, infant development, and compassionate elder support.
Her extensive education spans Deep Tissue Massage, Thai Bodywork, Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish Massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, professional Infant Massage Instruction and more. This diverse clinical training allows her to create customized, results-oriented sessions designed to relieve pain, regulate the nervous system, and promote long-term wellness.
But Carlie’s work is more than professional training — it is generational.
Her mother was an orphaned at birth — a beginning that impressed upon Carlie the importance and lifelong impact of presence, protection, and being truly seen. Years later, when her own daughter was born three months premature and spent eight weeks in the Neo-natal Intenstive Care Unit (NICU), those early lessons deepened into purpose.
During that time, Carlie practiced Kangaroo Care daily — skin-to-skin contact proven to stabilize heart rate, breathing, temperature, and neurological development in premature infants. Witnessing the measurable power of therapeutic touch transformed her path. She pursued formal training and became a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI), blending evidence-based practice with lived maternal experience.
From that season, K.I.M.™ — Kangaroo Infant Massage — was born. The name honors Kangaroo Care, Infant Massage, and her mother, Kim. It represents generational continuity, regulated presence, and intentional healing through touch.
Today, as a professional massage therapist and infant massage educator, Carlie supports clients from newborn days through elder years. Whether providing therapeutic massage for chronic pain, teaching parents how to build strong bonds with their babies, or sitting beside an aging adult in companion care, her approach remains consistent:
Skilled hands.
Steady presence.
Integrity in every season.
Carlie believes wellness is not just physical — it is relational, neurological, and generational. Her work integrates clinical knowledge with maternal leadership, creating a calm, grounded space where healing unfolds naturally.
