The Healing Journey

Each experience is personalized and unfolds gently according to your needs.

Ritual Tea Ceremony and Intention Setting | Hamsa Hands

Tea Ceremony & Intention Setting

Your experience begins with a quiet ritual tea ceremony designed to help you transition from the activity of daily life into a more grounded and receptive state.

A carefully selected herbal tea is prepared and shared mindfully. As the warmth of the tea settles the body and the aroma engages the senses, we take a few moments to slow the breath and arrive fully in the present moment.

During this time we also explore your intentions for the session and any areas of physical or emotional stress you may be experiencing.

Each client is gifted a beautiful journal to support reflection. You are invited to spend a few quiet moments writing down any intentions for the session or simply noting how you are feeling as you arrive.

This gentle beginning allows the nervous system to settle and prepares the body and mind for the healing work ahead.

Aromatherapy Consultation

You will be introduced to several therapeutic essential oils and guided through a simple aroma exploration to determine which oils best support your needs.

These oils may be incorporated into your bodywork session and later used to create a personal aromatherapy roller blend for you to take home.

Massage and Bodywork Therapy | Hamsa Hands

Massage & Bodywork Therapy

The central portion of the experience is a deeply restorative bodywork session.

Your session may incorporate therapeutic massage techniques, Thai bodywork approaches, and integrative bodywork methods designed to release muscular tension, improve circulation, and encourage deep nervous system relaxation.

Therapeutic sound healing using tuning forks may be gently incorporated throughout the session to support relaxation, energetic balance, and nervous system regulation. The subtle vibration of sound can help deepen the body’s relaxation response and enhance the restorative effects of bodywork.

As part of this session, a ritual foot anointing may be incorporated using warm towels and aromatic oils. In many healing traditions, the feet symbolize grounding and the path we walk through life. This simple ritual invites the body to soften and supports a deeper sense of relaxation and connection.

Selected essential oils from your aromatherapy consultation may also be incorporated throughout the bodywork experience.

Tea and Nourishment | Hamsa Hands

Pause with Tea & Nourishment

Following bodywork, a short pause is offered to allow the body to gently integrate the therapeutic work.

During this time you are invited to rest, hydrate, and enjoy herbal tea or water along with a light nourishing snack prepared with simple, whole-food ingredients.

This quiet moment helps stabilize energy levels while maintaining the relaxed state created during the bodywork session.

Healing Nourishment

During the integration pause, clients are invited to enjoy a light offering of whole-food nourishment designed to gently support the body after bodywork while maintaining a relaxed and grounded state.

These simple foods help stabilize energy levels without overwhelming the digestive system, allowing the body to continue integrating the benefits of the session.

Offerings may include:

• fresh seasonal fruit paired with pumpkin or sunflower seeds
• unsweetened coconut yogurt with berries and optional chia seeds
• a small whole-food energy bite prepared with ingredients such as dates, seeds, coconut, and chia or hemp seeds

Occasionally a small square of high-cacao dark chocolate or additional seasonal fruit may also be offered.

All offerings are intentionally simple, minimally processed, and suitable for many dietary preferences, including nut-free options.

Healing Herbal Teas

Herbal teas are thoughtfully selected to support relaxation, nervous system balance, and emotional wellbeing throughout the experience.

Teas may be offered during the opening tea ceremony as well as during the integration pause following bodywork.

Examples may include:

• tulsi (holy basil) for stress support
• chamomile for calming the nervous system
• lemon balm for gentle mood support
• rose blends for heart-centered relaxation

High-quality teas are sourced from trusted companies such as Organic India, Rishi Tea, and Traditional Medicinals.

Before leaving, clients receive a small selection of herbal tea bags so they can continue the ritual of rest and reflection at home.

Closing Ceremony

As we conclude our session, we take a few moments to reflect on your experience and discuss simple practices you may wish to continue between sessions.

You will leave with a small integration set including:

Who This Experience Is For

This experience may be especially supportive for individuals who feel overwhelmed, are navigating a life transition, or simply wish to devote intentional time to rest, reflection, and holistic self-care. Many clients choose this experience when they are seeking deeper restoration, navigating life transitions, or simply wishing to devote a day to meaningful self-care.

A Gentle Philosophy of Healing

Healing is not something that can be forced or rushed. Often, the body and mind simply need the right environment — one that invites stillness, safety, and presence.

A Day of Healing was created with this understanding in mind. Rather than focusing on a single modality, this experience gently weaves together several complementary practices that support the body, calm the nervous system, and encourage deeper self-awareness.

Through touch, plant-based remedies, sound, breath, and quiet reflection, the intention is to create space where the body can soften, the mind can settle, and a natural sense of balance can begin to return.

Each experience unfolds at a gentle pace, allowing time for rest, integration, and meaningful connection with the practices introduced throughout the day.
