Bella Love | Certified Postpartum Doula, PCD (DONA)
Serving families across North Carolina, Bella Love, PCD (DONA)—also known as Mariposa Postpartum Doula—is a compassionate and dedicated postpartum doula providing in-home postpartum support, newborn care assistance, and emotional guidance for new parents throughout Western North Carolina and beyond.
Bella supports families during the important weeks following birth, often called the fourth trimester—a time when parents and newborns are adjusting physically, emotionally, and mentally to life together. Her role is to offer calm, knowledgeable support so parents can rest, recover, and grow into their new roles with confidence.
Bella is Infant CPR Certified and trained to provide safe, attentive newborn care while supporting the well-being of the entire household.
A Personal Understanding of Resilience and Care
Born three months premature and diagnosed with a mild case of cerebral palsy, Bella understands resilience, patience, and the importance of steady support during life’s most vulnerable seasons.
Her personal journey cultivated deep empathy and sensitivity—qualities that now guide her work with new parents navigating the emotional and physical transitions of early parenthood.
Bella believes every family deserves compassionate support during the postpartum period and that no parent should feel alone during such a transformative time.
A Lifelong Caregiver
Bella’s journey in caregiving began early. She started caring for children at just 13 years old, providing trusted childcare for friends and family long before pursuing professional training as a postpartum doula.
Over time, she developed a natural ability to connect with babies, children, and parents alike—creating an environment where families feel safe, supported, and understood.
Today, as a Certified Postpartum Doula through DONA International, Bella combines professional training with genuine compassion to provide meaningful support to the families she serves.
