Postpartum Doula Support | A Gentle Approach for Life After Birth

Postpartum doula support is non-medical, in-home care provided during the first weeks and months after birth. A postpartum doula offers emotional support, newborn care guidance, feeding support (breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and pumping), light household assistance, and practical education to help families adjust with confidence.

Unlike a medical provider, a postpartum doula does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Instead, she supports the physical recovery of the birthing mother, promotes rest, nurtures bonding, and helps regulate the household during this transitional season.

Services may include:

๐ŸŒฟ Daytime or overnight newborn support

๐ŸŒฟ Soothing techniques and sleep guidance

๐ŸŒฟ Postpartum recovery support

๐ŸŒฟ Infant care education

๐ŸŒฟ Sibling adjustment support

๐ŸŒฟ Light meal prep and household organization

๐ŸŒฟ Referrals to trusted local providers when needed

Hiring a postpartum doula provides families with personalized, evidence-informed care that reduces stress, improves parental confidence, and supports healthy attachment during the fourth trimester.

Postpartum doula care is ideal for first-time parents, growing families, single parents, adoptive families, and those recovering from cesarean birth or complicated deliveries.

The "fourth trimester" is a time of massive transition. While a birth doula supports you during labor, a Postpartum Doula is there to mother the mother (and the whole family) once youโ€™re home.

Our goal is to provide the practical, emotional, and physical support you need to heal, bond with your baby, and find your rhythm as a parent.
