Petals & Planets
A Practice for Quiet Intention & Gentle Beginning
There are moments when life becomes quiet enough to listen.
Not empty.
Not uncertain.
But open.
A space where something new is beginning to take shape slowly—before it has words, before it has form.
You may notice:
a subtle pull toward simplicity
a sense of resetting your direction
a quiet readiness to begin again
This is not a time for urgency or expansion.
It is a time for clarity, steadiness, and grounded intention.
This practice is here to support you in beginning gently, with presence and care.
Mudra: Prithvi Mudra (Gesture of Stability)
A grounding hand gesture that supports steadiness, embodiment, and rooted presence.
How to practice:
Gently bring the thumb and ring finger together
Let the remaining fingers extend softly and naturally
Rest hands on thighs, palms facing upward
Sit comfortably and breathe naturally for 5–15 minutes
A gentle note:
There is no need to hold this firmly. Let the hands rest into the gesture without effort.
Supportive qualities:
Encourages grounding and stability
Supports physical and emotional steadiness
Helps anchor intention into the body
🔊 Mantra: Om Gam
A simple mantra to support clearing obstacles and gentle forward movement.

Inhale slowly through the nose
Exhale gently, repeating: Om Gam
One repetition per breath
Continue for 3–5 minutes
Let the sound feel steady, unforced, and supportive—like a quiet step forward.

🌿 A Simple Ritual
Sit comfortably with your hands in mudra.
Breathe.
Repeat your mantra softly.
Then gently ask:
What feels ready to begin?
What is one small step I can take with steadiness?
No need to rush the answer.
Let it arrive in its own time.
🌿 Closing Reflection
Beginnings are not always loud.
Often they are quiet shifts—
in attention, in intention, in presence.
You do not need to create everything at once.
You only need to begin where you are.
New practices are shared here every two weeks, created to support you through life’s natural rhythms.
With care,
